It could be the warmth of the Red Doors overlooking Fullerton Parkway, or possibly the beautiful stained-glass windows that surround you, or it might be the beautiful music that fills your ears. There are many external reasons that can draw you in here, but it is the spirit and the faith that truly welcomes you at Church of Our Saviour. We are an all-inclusive congregation that is moved to action by the word of God. We welcome any and all to this House of Worship. On Sundays Rite I is performed at our 8:00AM service, and Rite II is followed at our 10:30AM service. There is always child care provided at both Sunday morning services. After the 10:30 Service, please join the congregation for a cup of coffee and conversation, during Coffee Hour in the Parish Hall. All are welcomed. |

NEWCOMERS: Newcomer committee members greet visitors and newcomers, introduce newcomers to parishioners during coffee hour, discover their particular interests in the church and make sure they get on the church mailing list if they wish. This group also plans a quarterly event for newcomers. Contact: Meg Mattsson
USHERS are the first line of hospitality at COS. They greet old friends and make newcomers feel welcome. They receive late-comers graciously. Taking the collection and guiding the congregation to the communion rail are also their responsibilities. After the service, they straighten up the pews and make certain the church is in good order for the next Eucharist. Contact: David & Sandra Salyers
COFFEE HOUR is one of our favorite traditions--a time to meet and greet each other after the 10:30 Eucharist and it is made possible by volunteers. With the exception of fresh cream, juice and cookies for the children and ice, all supplies are furnished. Detailed instructions are mailed to the volunteers a week before they are scheduled.
