The Vestry at Church of Our Saviour is composed of twelve at-large members, a treasurer, a clerk, a Senior Warden, a Junior Warden, and the Rector. Every year in January, four at-large members are elected to three year terms. These newly elected members join those already on the vestry in assuming responsibility for the general well-being of the parish. The vestry meets monthly and its members serve on a variety of sub-committees designed to meet the constant needs that arise in the day to day life of a parish. Members of the vestry are in a position to see a detailed view of the daily operations of the parish and to help with long term planning, both spiritual and fiscal. Vestry members work closely with one another, with the clergy, and with lay volunteers in a number of parish programs. |
