This Sunday at
Church of Our Saviour
100 Kneelers
It's been eight years and tens of
thousands of stitches in the making--but we have arrived. 100 kneelers
have now been completed. Memabers of the parish and all our visitors
can now imagine the unique beauty of our church as it will look when
this amazing project is finished. There are few things that can
compare to the originality of hand-made art. As this project unfolds,
we are witnesses to the church becoming an amazing example of this
unique grandeur.
The needlepointers have chosen St. Margaret
of Scotland as their patron. As a medieveal monarch, she was well
acquainted with the importnce of beautifying God's House and with
the needle art that could accomplish it. Perhaps we in the post-modern
world are learning a bit of the importance of the pre-modern one.
Come help us celebrate this great event.
